Fastest Growing Brokers – Awards are given to brokerages that achieved more than 20% growth in revenue volume. IBC also highlights four brokerages as Fast Starters, which have been in business for three years or less and are making their mark on the insurance landscape. These brokerages confirmed their resilience and cemented their strong positions in the Canadian insurance industry.
5-Star Brokerage – This award recognizes key details about our brokerage including revenue, policies written, policy growth, number of new and existing clients, and revenue per broker. This means we achieved outstanding growth with our proactive and unique approaches to embracing challenges and opportunities. It highlights our ability to attract new clients, new brokers, and leverage technology as crucial components towards our sustained success! We’ve been applauded for our strive to set new industry standards and surpass our current benchmarks of success.
Top Insurance Employers – Award that recognizes one of the best workplaces in the industry. Companies that score a rating of 80% satisfaction or greater from employees will be recognized
Top Insurance Brokers – Award that recognizes one of the best companies rated by clients/ customers.
Digital Transformation Award (Head Office) – This award recognizes a brokerage for outstanding achievement in technology and digital solutions which demonstrate positive outcomes to improve workflow or to improve the business. This could include EPIC, social media, Intranet, Fresh works, Applied, or even Microsoft 365 best practices. Technology and data are our daily reality and will only continue to grow in the future, so we are searching for stewards, people who integrate data, information, automation, technology methods and practices, and have maintained an 80% or above average on Cyber Security Awareness training.
IBC Fastest Brokerage – This award embraces brokerages that embody resilience, adaptability, entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for client service just to name a few. It’s known for recognizing brokerages that excel during unpredictable times and achieved more than 20% growth in revenue volume.
IBC 5 Star Brokerages – This award recognizes brokerages who stand out for their dedication to serving clients effectively, their adoption of innovative technologies, and unparalleled expertise in their field. This was determined by aggregating scores in total revenue, increase in new clients, growth in policies and in client base just to name a few.
Canada’s Best Insurance Employer – This nomination evaluates on several metrics, including benefits, compensation, culture, employee development, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. For this to be possible, InsureLine must achieve a 75% or greater satisfaction rating from employees. Spirit Award (head office) – This is an award that recognizes a company and their employees that go above and beyond to be involved with organizations that are heavily involved with engaging in the community. Companies that show support, are collaborative, show active participation and possess leaderships skills.
The Allianz Global Assistance Award for Digital Innovation in a Brokerage (Awardee) – This award is given to the brokerage that has best harnessed technology and digital solutions to improve their business, aid their brokers, and leverage overall client experience over the last 12-18 months.
This category looks at the organizations use of digital platform/solution/resource/software/ such as (but not limited to) CRM, digital marketing, mobile technology, electronic document management, connectivity platforms, and collaboration tools.
When judging this category, the following will be considered: Overall use of digital platforms and wealth technology solutions in the last 12-18 months, demonstrating positive outcomes Clear narrative demonstrating the needs identification process for implementation of the technology Alignment of the use of the technology with the organization’s broader goals Innovation in the types of technology used Efficiencies and cost savings gained from use of technology Evidence of return on investment and impact on staff engagement and performance.
